MOON LAKE

How much loss can one person handle in their lives? How much can one 15 year old girl handle on her own? Well I have to say that in this novel you will come close to finding out.

Angie just wants to fit into a new home and a new town but the local boy, Tyeson Dompier, who has taken a liking to her ends up making her new Southern life a nightmare in which she feels like she will never wake from. All she wants is happiness after the loss of her mother and for her and her father to be happy again.

Jason Thorton moved him and is daughter to Moon Lake Mississippi for a fresh beginning but he is forced to watch his daughter become more and more pained in this new town where it seems happiness will never find his sweet girl. He doesn't know what is going on and struggles to encourage her to give the new town and the kids at her school a chance. As he hopes things will fall into place for her he begins to notice that happiness may never find her there.

This novel is full of suspense and horror and is a great read. This emotionally charged story line will have you hanging on to every word as the horror unfolds throughout your imagination.

Fix a Time Travel Tale

We are always told that everything happens for a reason and I do believe that. 

This story not only follows that line of thought but also gives the reasoning that if it was meant to happen then that is the was it will always be and no matter how far technology goes the past will forever be the same.

SCREAM - A Werewolf Tale

I'm not a werewolf fan so I put off reading this story for a long time and after reading it I'm sorry I did.

Joey never had an easy life, being mistreated and picked on and even ignored when he was in pain. Too bad they never got a chance to regret their actions.

The wound they thought was just from him being clumsy is so much more. When his world changes will the be around long enough to realize their ignorance is their downfall?

Read this awesome short and find out!

UNIDENTIFIED

I have to admit that when I first started this novel I didn't know what direction it was going take but then I was sucked in. The flow of the story line and the development of the characters is amazing.

Karl has no idea who is turning his life upside down or why but when people start dying he knows that whoever is doing it won't stop until they get whatever it is they want. 

The reality that what this person wants is for him to no longer be alive is almost too much for him to bare. And what makes it even worse is when things start to come together and he finds out that a secret Hollywood project could hold some clue as to what is happening he is bound by secrecy and has no one to turn too.

I really enjoyed this novel and recommend it to mystery fans everywhere.

HELL & BRIMSTONE

This is around 22 pages of page turning awesome!

When Brie first discovers that her temper is not only bad but truly flammable it scares her to no end but once she learns that she has no need to fear her new capabilities her live expands.

Little does Brie know that her life is about to be the happiest it has ever been. She meets Trey, the soon to be love of her life ans biggest supporter. Neither she or Trey can imagine how their life together will turn out.

GOLD RUSH DREAM

From the very first page of this book I was drawn into this amazing historical world that Billie Sue Mosiman paints with her words.

My heart breaks more than once in this book for the main female character, Rose Donahue. But she is so strong that you just know that she can overcome anything that she has to endure.

The main male in this book will capture your heart with his kindness and compassion. Travis is a mighty force to be reckoned with and as his love grows he knows that his life will always be complete as long as he has the woman he loves.

The villain of this story is a non stop beast who is surprised at himself for what he is doing. But his obsession with the one he considers his will not let him stop.

When you open this book you don't read it, you hop on the wagon trail and ride along through the adventure for family, gold and a place to call home.

FRANKENSTEIN- Return from the Wasteland

I have to begin by saying that I love the original Frankenstein. Being a fan of Billie Sue Mosiman I knew even before I began this book that I would be surprised by her words and once again I was not let down. 

This novelette captures you imagination from the first page and pulls you into one mans world as he hunts for Dr. Frankenstein's monster to find out once and for all if twenty years after the doctors death if his creation still lives.

This becomes his obsession. Even though he may not live to find the truth he has to push forward and know if the one creature who has haunted his mind for twenty long years lives or if it has passed in the frozen wastelands of the arctic tundra.

 What he finds and the loss he experiences is more than one man can handle and the worse thing of all is he finds out just how bad the human race can hate and fear the unknown.

MOURNING MANSION

Another great and fascinating read by Billie Sue Mosiman. This book not only lets you see what is going on inside the mansion walls but leads you through the pain, fear and hurt of the characters within.

I love that Billie Sue was able to bring back her character, Jack DeShane, from her novel Wireman for me being a fan of her writing and of that book it was like a sweet surprise getting to see an old friend.

THE LONELY WALK

This short story is very emotional from the very beginning. It starts with a man who doesn't want to sit and watch is family die and turns in to a horror that no man should ever have to face. 

I have never read a zombie story like this, where you can learn through the eyes of a dead man what it means to want to live

SUBWAY COLLECTION

This outstanding collection takes you through the world of witch craft and throws a killer in the mix just for fun. These stories will engage your mind and leave you with a feeling of wonder. 

These are great stories of suspends and magic with a pretty boy thrown in just do give you the feeling of fear that will leave you wondering just who is the wolf in sheep's clothing.

I highly recommend this book of stories along with The Subway Collection book 1 if you love to have something to read on the go or in the comfort of your home. The suspense that leaps from the pages will leave you longing for more.

Prosper Bane

Prosper is a man on the edge of his life in prison who does just what needs to be done.

 I agree with Prosper, he is not an innocent man but he got the wrong end of the stick. Then there is Dr. Prentice Forbes aka Hammurabi. He is a very twisted man who gets just what he deserves.

This is a very edgy and gritty story that will in the end leave you with a feeling of both loss and justice.

SKINS OUR FATHERS

Imagine living your life knowing that you are different and wondering day in and day out if there is anyone in the great wide world you can trust. How awful must it be? Are there creatures out in the world wondering the same thing?

Now imagine you found something you are starting to put your trust in, not just something but a something of the opposite sex. Something that seems to be taking care of you. Then the horror as that trust comes crashing around you as your world is turned upside down.

Yep, you get all of that and so much more within the pages of this story!

CREEP

This story had me from the beginning and held me throughout and I was at the amazing ending before I knew it!

Cassandra Morrighan thought she was just on her way to the airport when her life is turned upside down and her worse fears are made real. After a nice holiday spent with her family and another year of college in her future all this 18 year old wanted was to get to her plane on time but the Creep behind the cab wheel had other ideas. Her little attitude has already captured his attention and he knows that she will be spending a prolonged amount of time with him.

What Cassandra manages to do is truly amazing and this story is not just a horror, and it is horror don't doubt that, but it is a story of survival with a victim that keeps her head in the nightmare that has become her captivity.

Great horror short!

Devil Inside

In true William Cook style this story is horror and anger at its finest. Please remember when you purchase this book that it is a short story. With that being said, short story or not it is amazing. I got so angry at the start of this story that I had to put my kindle down before I threw it across the room.

How much can one person handle before they break? That is a question that if any of us knew the answer to we could fix a lot of people before something bad happened but unfortunately we don't have that answer and when the parents of a 12 year old boy spend all of their time drunk just so they don't have to deal with life it is bound to go terribly wrong.

When young Jacob starts seeing the monster he had no idea how powerful it could be or how much he would grow just by being with it.

GREAT READ!!!!

Moment of Freedom

I have read this author before and I found his writing very passionate in his novel but the passion that he puts into his poems is a thing of beauty. While he is able to hold on to the darkness he has within he is also able to let other emotions seep through and shine. I was captured and drawn into this book from the first poem and was not able to put it down until I read every one.

Weather you are a lover of poetry or you are looking for something a little different to break the everyday this collection is well worth the time to read

Blood Related

This book takes you on a very disturbing thrill ride through the mind of one killer and the life of him and his murderous family. Killing is in the blood and mind of the entire Cunningham family. 

When you read this book it is so well written that you forget that it is fiction, but then as you read you find out that you are so glad that it is. 

The heinous acts that this family inflicted on so many innocent people, and their lack of emotion not only towards society but for each other is so sad and horrific at the same time. Each page leaves you wanting more.

I don't know what deep corner of his mind that author William Cook had find to write this book, but I am so glad he did.

If you love reading about serial killers to the mentally disturbed you will have to read this book.

This was by far one of the best suspense books on demonic possession I have ever has the pleasure of reading. 

The characters are well detailed and you are able to feel the emotion of each one in their roll in the story.

You have it all while reading, a rich and powerful family with a life that has been turned upside down, the man who is their to debunk the fact that evil is at fault and an unlikely priest who not only feels she has lost her path but has her own issues to deal with as she does her best to help young Sammie.

Then to top it all off you have the story twist you will never forget!!

If you like suspense, horror or you are looking for a read you won't be able to put down I highly recommend this novel.

The Final Winter

This novel draws you in and the suspense keeps you there. I have never read an apocalyptic book like this one. 

Not only do you get to know the characters but the story allows you to under stand Heaven and Hell through this authors writing.

Hard to believe you could ever be safe in a bar full of scared and angry drunks, right? That is the only safe place left as the world as the characters with in know it.

ASBO

Warning, if you are sensitive to violence then this book is not for you.

Iain Rob Wright paints a picture through his words of extreme terror and helplessness throughout this entire book. 

What would you do if you suddenly became the victim of a disturbed teenage boy and his friend for no other reason than that he don't like your face? 

How would you feel to have to sit and watch your entire family be tortured for the pleasure of some gang? 

Well pick up this book and live this exact horror through the eyes of Andrew Goodman. This man who has always done his best to be nice to people and never make an enemy in his life. A good hard working man who loves his wife and daughter more than life itself.

Then meet Frankie, a very disturbed young man who hates as much as Andrew loves.

This is a great horror book that will leave you feeling thankful for the love of your family and friends and will also leave you feeling like you have just been through an emotional tornado. 

There were points in this book where I was so afraid to turn the page that I just had to put the book down for a few minutes. I recommend this book for anyone who loves to hang on the edge of their page while reading, but please keep in mind that this book does contain a LOT of violence. 

Please keep that in mind before you get this wonderfully well written book.

The Peeling Book 1

This novella is 130 pages but the flow of the words make it fly by, in a good way. 

Jeremy has found himself in a world full of people who are sick and melting. This novella is not as gruesome as you would think. 

There are a few parts that made me cringe, but this book is very well written. I just wish there was a little more to Jeremy's life.

This is an enjoyable read for all horror fans.

Animal Kingdom

Wow!!!! This book is a not stop adrenalin pumping thrill ride of horror and suspense. 

Imagine if you will every animal in the entire world tuning on humans, not just the big bad animals but the cute and fluffy ones as well. Then to make matters worse what if you are stuck with a group of people in a zoo!!!!

All Joe wants to do is protect his son and his new found friends from danger but there is not only madness all around him from the animals but some of the people he is hold up with are borderline insane.

This is an outstanding book with such addictive writing that you will not be able to put it down, and to add to the awesomeness of the book the bonus content is just as good as the book it's self. This is a must read for any horror lover.

Shame the Devil

This is one gripping short story! From the beginning the characters have depth and are well developed, you are able to feel the fear and anger as it leaps from the pages.

Arthur thinks he can keep his life secret from his friends and co workers. He never thought he would be caught red handed by anyone for his evil deeds but then on one little elevator ride his life is turn upside down. 

You many be able to hide from the living but the devil will always know.

Prodigal Son

If you are a reader of horror or serial killer fiction then this book will be right up your alley. 

From the start I was pulled into the story and by the time I got to 30% I was completely pulled in and could not put it down until I had finished the entire thing. 

As will all of Christine Sutton's writing there were some very emotional parts in this book for me. She has a way of really giving you characters that you can both love and hate and Prodigal son is no exception. 

This is one of those books where you feel there is just so much I want to go on about but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I will leave you with a couple of question that stays in my mind as the end of this book was in site; Is a person born with darkness and hate in their heart or is it put there as time grows and they have no one to love and care for them? 
How much abuse can a person take before they loose their minds?

Outstanding horror read!

Kayla - Enchanted Fairy Tales

Once I started this wonderful, suspenseful and fun book I could not put it down!! I was drawn in and with every word I had to read more. 

Christine Sutton takes your imagination on a fascinating and wonderful adventure as you get to know Kayla Burkheart and what kind of life she was forced to lead with a mother that is more than you will ever expect and more evil than you can imagine.

I love fairy tales and in reading this series I was drawn in and reminded as to why I enjoy them so very much.

This is a must read if you are a fan of werewolves, vampire, horror or suspense. If you love fairy tales or if you just love a wonderful book that has great flow and a world you can get caught up in.

Killers

In this collection of four short stories you will be taken through so many levels of fear it is crazy. 

Christine Sutton takes you not only into the minds of the killers in her stories but into their wants and their fears.

I think the scariest part of all of these stories is the simple fact that Christine give you ideas of what can really happen and what really goes on in the world we live in. 

These are very emotional and enjoyable stories to read.

All the Little Children

If you like haunting and ghost stories this book is for you.

 It was a well written good read. It had the suspense to keep you reading and a story line that holds your attention. 

I do not read a lot of haunting books but I am glad I took the time to read this one. Christine Sutton has quite a way with words.

 Because this book has to do with the loss of life of children and babies it was a bit of a heart breaker for me but a good book is a good book that is all there is too it.

BANISHED

This novel starts off strong and stays that way throughout. 

From the time you meet Angelique you know that this fallen creature will always want the best of everything. She has deemed herself queen and intends to stay that way through all time. 

She is one of heaven's fallen angels and has been on this earth before but after spending so many thousands of years banished from heaven she could not take another minute in the outreaches and must find life with humans once more. 

When she makes it into human form it is not what she had wished it to be but she will make the best of what she was given. After hundreds of years spent having humans care for her it was time for her to call one of her kind to help and care for her as only a servant that can live as long as she can.

She calls upon Nisroc, a fallen like she but she knows he can hold his place and care for her. But Nisroc has something she will never have, a love for the human creatures. He actually loves Gods beloved humans and wishes more than anything to be a part of them.

To be honest I could go on for hours about this book but I don't want to slip out anything that would mess it up for any one else, so I will leave after I say a few more things.

The writing and story line flows wonderfully and there was never a moment of confusion that I have had with other Fallen Angel stories. The characters are amazing and just detailed enough to give the mind something to lean on as they come into or leave the story. 

There were times of sadness, anger and loss that all added to the emotional suspense that lay in waiting in the pages of this book.

HORROR TALES

In this book of 3 shorts you get horror, obsession, fear and despair written in true Billie Sue Mosiman fashion.

In The Court Of The Invisible, when Mel finally finds out what her tarot cards are trying to tell her it is too late for her to do anything about it. For most of her adult life she has turned to the cards to guide her and has always lived happy, but the one thing she doesn't understand drives her to keep turning the cards.

The Shape Of Its Absence, This story pulled at my heart strings in it horror and sadness. Cora Lee just wants to be left well enough alone and live on her land, in her house and safe from the world, but her kids just can't leave well enough alone. As I read this I was pulled in and I think this is the most emotional story in the book.

Down By The Riverside, when a father must tell his son that he has to leave his home and live with his uncle because his time on this earth is about to end, the grown man who is only a child in his mind takes matters into his own hands and grows up just a tad as he realizes that no matter what you fear there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Great short story book.

LIFE THE NEAR BONE

This is a great set of 3 short stories. They are a quick read but you don't feel cheated in any way because the details are there. 

Life Near the Bone, You find out what happens when a man takes philosophy too far and looses his mind.

Antidote, you get a look into a very unique vampire story and what takes place in a vampire world where it is kill or be killed.

Rosa Two-Cents a man finds out what happens when you leave not only a debt but a promise un-paid.

This is only my take on the stories, you will have to read it yourself to see if you agree. I highly recommend this set too everyone who enjoys suspense and horror.

WIDOW

This novel has so much going on and so many characters that it is like 3 books rolled into one meeting in the middle to blow your mind.

I'm a sensitive reader and wear my heart on my sleeve and there were some part of this book that were hard for me to read, but as with all of Billie Sue Mosiman's books you get pulled in from the beginning and can't stop reading until the tale is told.

This tale for me is on of Loss, love and the need to forget the most horrible past and a search for a new and happy future, but sadly that is not meant to be for any of the unforgettable characters in this novel. With each character you meet along the way you are able to feel their impact on the story and they will stay with me for a long time.

This is an incredible book and well worth the read. I highly recommend it to all.

A LITTLE LIFE

Billie Sue Mosiman wastes no time digging right into this story and in doing so grabbing your heart and taking your emotions to the brink.

This is not just a story of the loss of a child it is more. I can only imagine how hard this story was to write. The power of the words are enough to bring just about any reader to tears and the loss of a child is a nightmare for any parent and that makes this story that much stronger but this story is also about the ability to move on. 

The main character in this story is so well written that you are able to feel her pain through the word.

I highly recommend this story but be aware that it is very emotional and you may need many tissues at hand.

QUIET ROOM

This is an emotional and gripping tale of what Gloria has lived with all for the support of the man she loves. 

Growing up knowing she was different and picked on by her school mates was one thing Gloria had dealt with her entire life and finding someone who loves her and makes her feel like a whole person is more than she could ever wish for. 

But for this poor woman it just opens up a whole new world of nightmares that she has to find a way to escape. She tried to repent in her on way for her soul knowing what was going on within the walls of her husbands special room was wrong. She had known it since the beginning but now she must stop it. She cannot live with it any longer and she has a plan.

You must read this amazing horrific suspense to find out if her plan works but be warned this is a dark place you will be visiting.

Interview with a Psycho

This is a great short story. When you stat reading you figure this is a story about an old man confessing his sins but you soon realize that it is much more. 

The thing about this story is it just goes to show you never know what evil hides within the people we come in contact with on a daily basis.

BAD TRIP SOUTH

This book is so full of suspense and terror that there are times where you want to put it down but you know if you do it will drive you over the edge because you have to know what happens.

Most of the story is told by Emily, she is the 10 year old daughter of a fifth grade school teacher and a cop. Her life has never been easy and she has lived with fear that most children her age never have to know. Having no friends, only her parents, who are far from having a normal and loving relationship. 

As bad as there life is, with a divorce in the cards and the family being separated you would never think it could get worse and then on one of the last vacations as a family their life takes another turn into the even deeper depths of hell.

This is a compelling read that will command every bit of your attention from beginning to end.
